Mirvetuximab  (Synonyms: M9346A)

Mirvetuximab (M9346A) is an anti-FOLR1 (folate receptor 1) monoclonal antibody. Mirvetuximab is the antibody moiety of folate receptor alpha (FRα)-targeting ADC (Mirvetuximab soravtansine). Mirvetuximab soravtansine can be used in ovarian and other FRα-positive cancer research^[1][2][3].

Mirvetuximab (0.17 pM-81 nM, 2 h) bounds three antibodies bound with high affinity, with EC₅₀ values in the double-digit picomolar range (14.3, 16.5, and 21.1 pM for binding to clones 4E12-G5, 4E12-B9, and 5D12-C11, respectively)^[2].
Mirvetuximab (1 pM-100 nM) shows dose-dependent binding to folate receptor in the absence of competing anti-idiotype antibodies^[2].
M9346A (1 pM-100 nM) associates with H2110 cells with an EC₅₀ of around 650 pM by specific binding of M9346A to surface folate receptor antigen^[2].

  Human IgG1 kappa

  Flow cytometric analysis of 1X10⁶ MCF-7 cells with Mirvetuximab (HY-P99225, red). Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde. Then stained with the primary antibody at 1/200 dilution for an hour at 4℃. Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Human IgG H&L (AF488) (HY-P83776) was used as the secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution for 30 minutes at 4℃. Human IgG1 kappa (HY-P99001, blue) was used as the isotype control, cells without incubation with primary antibody were used as the unlabeled control (black).

  Immobilized FOLR1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) can bind Mirvetuximab. The EC₅₀ for this effect is 6.576 ng/mL.
