Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
ROS-responsive amphiphilic polymers are amphiphilic block polymers containing sensitive linkers (such as thioethers, borate esters, or silane ethers) that can be oxidized by reactive oxygen species (ROS). In high ROS microenvironments (such as tumor tissue or inflammatory sites), the linkers break down, leading to polymer disintegration or a change in the hydrophobic-hydrophilic balance, thereby triggering the rapid release of the encapsulated drug and achieving microenvironment-responsive intelligent controlled release.
