Description

Neoazedarachin B is an insect antifeedant present in the root bark of Melia toosendan. Neoazedarachin B reduces the feeding behavior of third-instar larvae of Spodoptera littoralis[1].

In Vivo

Neoazedarachin B (50-400 ppm; topical application to leaf disks; 2-24 h) exhibits antifeedant activity against third-instar Spodoptera littoralis larvae, with a minimum inhibitory concentration of 400 ppm in the leaf disk choice assay[1].
