OX01914 is a water-solube and permeable utrophin modulator (upregulates utrophin protein levels), with an EC50 of 20.5 μM. OX01914 can be used in study of duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD)[1].

In Vitro

OX01914 (0.1, 10, 40, 50 µM; 24 h) upregulates utrophin mRNA in LUmdx and (30 µM; 24 h) H2K mdx myoblasts[1].
OX01914 (1, 3, 30; 24 h) upregulates utrophin protein levels in human DMD muscle cells[1].

Western Blot Analysis[1]

Cell Line: LUmdx and H2K mdx myoblasts
Concentration: 0.1, 10, 40, 50 µM (for LUmdx myoblasts) ; 30 µM (for H2K mdx myoblasts).
Incubation Time: 24 h
Result: Upregulated utrophin mRNA both in LUmdx and H2K mdx myoblasts.

Western Blot Analysis[1]

Result: Increased utrophin protein levels by approximately 3-fold.
