PBB3
Based on 1 Customer Validation
PBB3 is a tracer of tau PET. PBB3 can be used to detect levels of tau protein in Alzheimer's disease and non-Alzheimer's disease.

Biological Activity
PBB3 (56.5 µM) labels Alzheimer's disease patient-originated brain pathological changes by fluorescent labeling[1].
PBB3 (56.5 µM) labels neuropil threads and plaque neurites in hippocampal derived from an Alzheimer’s disease patient[1].
PBB3 bound
to primitive plaques, which is accumulation ofabnormally swollen neurites without cores of
extracellular amyloid[1].
PBB3 clearly detects dystrophic neurites in
brains of Alzheimer's disease and diffuse neurofibrillary tangles with calcification
characterized by accumulation of all six tau isoforms[1].
