Potassium carbonate, 99%
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Potassium carbonate, with a purity of 99%, is an inorganic compound. At low concentrations, potassium carbonate can be used as an alkaline treatment agent and feed buffer in pork processing, as well as to inhibit the synthesis of milk fat in dairy cows.

Biological Activity
Potassium carbonate can increase milk fat content and inhibit milk fat synthesis in dairy cows. However, it is ineffective in improving milk fat synthesis inhibition in goats caused by high concentrate intake[1].
Potassium carbonate (0.3% and 0.5%) is an effective substitute for Sodium tripolyphosphate (HY-W019885A). By increasing the pH value and extracting myofibrillar proteins, it significantly improves the color, water-holding capacity and tenderness of fresh pork[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
