(S)-VU0637120 is a selective Y4R antagonist that effectively reduces the binding of its endogenous ligand pancreatic polypeptide (PP) to Y4R, with an IC50 value of 2.7 μM. (S)-VU0637120 binds to an allosteric site of Y4R, which is located in the core region of the transmembrane structure of Y4R, near the binding pocket of pancreatic polypeptide (PP), with a KB of 380 nM. (Rac)-VU0637120 can be used for research on metabolic diseases.
