Description

Sapelin A is a triterpenoid compound. Sapelin A exhibits certain cytotoxic effects on promyelocytic leukemia, non-small cell lung cancer and breast cancer cells^[1].

In Vitro

Sapelin A shows weak cytotoxicity against HL-60, A-549, and MCF-7 human cancer cell lines with IC₅₀ values of 29.57 μM, 25.35 μM, and 29.82 μM, respectively, and no cytotoxicity against SMMC-7721 and SW480 cells^[1].
