Description

SU0617 is a selective SMUG1 inhibitor with a human IC50 of 1.5 μM. SU0617 inhibits base excision repair activity of SMUG1, including excision of modified and damaged pyrimidines from DNA. SU0617 can be used for the research of breast cancer[1].

In Vitro

SU0617 (1-10 μM; 10-25 min) potently inhibits recombinant human SMUG1 with an IC50 of 1.5 μM[1].
SU0617 (1-10 μM) shows selective inhibition of recombinant human SMUG1 over bacterial UDG[1].
SU0617 (5 μM; 3 h) causes near-complete inhibition of recombinant human SMUG1-mediated DNA base excision[1].
SU0617 (48 h) exhibits minimal cytotoxicity in Hs578T and BT549 human breast cancer cell lines after 48 h of incubation, with an IC50 above 10 μM in both lines[1].
