Subtilisin, bacillus licheniformis
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Subtilisin, bacillus licheniformis (Bacillopeptidaseb) is a serine endopeptidase that cleaves peptide bonds with broad substrate specificity. Subtilisin, bacillus licheniformis exhibits P1 site preference (the first residue at the N-terminus of the cleavage site). Subtilisin, bacillus licheniformis can be used in protein hydrolysis, detergents, proteomics, and other fields.

Product Information
This product is a proteolytic enzyme derived from Bacillus licheniformis 2709, which was obtained through mutagenic breeding of bacterial protoplasts. It is produced via deep fermentation, extraction, and refinement processes. The primary enzymatic component is Bacillus licheniformis protease, a serine-type endopeptidase that hydrolyzes peptide chains in protein molecules to produce polypeptides or amino acids. It exhibits strong protein-degrading capability. Optimal reaction conditions: temperature 50-55°C, pH 8.0-10.0.
Instructions
This product is water-soluble and can be dissolved in water or according to specific experimental literature references. It is susceptible to inhibition and damage by heavy metal ions (Fe³⁺, Cu²⁺, Hg⁺, Pb⁺, etc.) and oxidizing agents. Avoid contact with these substances during use and storage.
Subtilisin (Compound proteinase) (30 mg/mL; 2.5-7 d) selectively acylates disaccharides in anhydrous dimethylformamide[1].
Subtilisin (Compound proteinase) (1.8 g; 20-72 h) selectively acylates monosaccharides in anhydrous dimethylformamide[1].
Subtilisin (Compound proteinase) proteinase acylates D-glucose of flavanol isoquercetin (1) in the presence of activated ester trifluoroethyl butyrate (TFEB)[3].
Subtilisin (Compound proteinase) improves the solubility of protein and fatty acids, and restores polypeptides and unsaturated fatty acids[4].
