Biological Activity
TB-212 potently inhibits Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Ra with an MIC50 of 0.2 ng/mL[1].
TB-212 (Varying concentrations; 72 h) exhibits low cytotoxicity with an IC50 of 19.56 μM against HepG2 cells, IC50 >30 μM against Vero cells, and IC50 >50 μM against A549 cells[1].
TB-212 (5-45 min) has moderate metabolic stability in human liver microsomes (T1/2 = 23.71 min) and mouse liver microsomes (T1/2 = 26.77 min)[1].
TB-212 potently inhibits Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv (MIC = 4 ng/mL) and drug-resistant clinical isolates (MIC range = 8-32 ng/mL), demonstrating efficacy against both drug-sensitive and drug-resistant strains[1].
