VL-422 derivative
VL-422 derivative is an ionizable lipid component of targeted lipid nanoparticles. VL-422 derivative formulated with a helper lipid, cholesterol, and a PEGylated lipid forms lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). VL-422 derivative can be used for in vivo or ex vivo delivery of agents to immune cells.

Biological Activity
VL-422 derivative (47 mol%) formulated in LNPs with DSPC, cholesterol, and PEG-DMG achieves close to 100% transfection efficiency in activated human T cells at doses of 100-800 ng LNP per 2×105 cells
[1].

VL-422 derivative (systemic) generates CAR-T cells, depletes B cells, and preserves less differentiated T cell subpopulations long-term in humanized mice engrafted with human CD34+ HSCs[1].
