3,5-Dihydroxybenzaldehyde exhibits bactericidal activity against Campylobacter jejuni RM1221, Escherichia coli O157:H7 RM1484, Listeria monocytogenes RM2199, and Salmonella enterica serovar Hadar RM1309, with BA50 values ranging from 0.065% to 0.19%[2].
