3-Hydroxy-4-methoxyacetophenone (0.006 M; 15-60 min irradiation) is produced via TiO2-photocatalyzed oxidation of 3,4-dimethoxyacetophenone under O2 at pH 7, with 1.8 μmol of the target reagent formed after 60 min of irradiation[2].
