5HPP-33 is an inhibitor for tubulin polymerization with IC₅₀ of 8.1 μM. 5HPP-33 inhibits the proliferation of leukemia cell and multiple myeloma cells with IC₅₀ of 1-10 μM, arrests the cell cycle at G2/M phase, and induces apoptosis.
