Fluorescein Biotin
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Fluorescein Biotin is a fluorescent modulator with avidin and streptavidin binding activity. Fluorescein Biotin binds to the biotin-binding sites of avidin and streptavidin, and this binding induces significant fluorescence quenching.

Biological Activity
Fluorescein Biotin (12.5 μM; 1-min intervals) enables accurate quantification of avidin in complex biological fluids, including 50% porcine serum and 10-fold diluted crude egg white, and the detection results of serum samples are consistent with the measured values of the buffer-only control group[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
