Anticancer agent-371 is an anticancer compound that exerts antiproliferative and cytotoxic activity by inhibiting ABCC2 efflux transporter expression, inducing the integrated stress response and ER stress/unfolded protein response pathways, promoting amino acid deprivation and metabolic stress signaling, and reprogramming the long non-coding RNA landscape; it exhibits low toxicity to normal cells and can be used for research on pancreatic cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, liver cancer, and ovarian cancer.

Anticancer agent-371 (0.5-100 μM; 24-72 h) reduces the viability of pancreatic, liver, colorectal, breast, and ovarian cancer cell lines, with an IC50 of 28.9 μM against C3a hepatocytes and an IC50 of 19.2 μM against OVCAR-5 cells at 48 h[1].
Anticancer agent-371 (up to 100 μM) shows low cytotoxicity against normal MCF10A breast epithelial cells (IC50 >100 μM), which is lower than its cytotoxicity against cancer cell lines[1].
