Antifungal agent 183
Antifungal agent 183 is a Myosin I inhibitor (Kd = 0.37 μM) that binds to the conserved phenamacril-binding pocket in the motor domain of Botrytis cinerea myosin I, inhibits Actin-dependent ATPase activity, and blocks the ATPase cycle, thereby disrupting hyphal tip morphogenesis and inhibiting hyphal and colony growth. Antifungal agent 183 can be used for research on gray mold.
