Antiparasitic agent-42 (compound 2576) (administered orally daily for 4 consecutive days) exhibits anti-schistosomal activity in mice infected with Schistosoma mansoni. Its single oral LD₅₀ is 1.5 g/kg, daily LD₅₀ is 0.56 g/kg, and daily CD₅₀ is 0.33 g/kg^[1].
Antiparasitic agent-42 (single oral dose ≤0.4 g/kg) induces ocular retinal toxicity in healthy adult male and female cats^[1].
