Matricarin
Matricarin is a sesquiterpene lactone antioxidant with ferric ion reducing antioxidant power activity. Matricarin exhibits free radical scavenging activity. Matricarin induces growth inhibition. Matricarin can be used in the research of ovarian cancer and renal cancer.

Matricarin is a compound isolated from the leaves of the Artemisia tridentata tridentata subspecies, and its ferric reducing antioxidant activity is 13.22 µM TE/g FW[1].
Matricarin (10-5 M) achieves a growth inhibition rate of up to 89% in OVCAR-3 ovarian cancer cells and a lethality rate of 28% in A498 renal cancer cells, but its overall anti-tumor activity in the NCI-60 cell panel is not significant[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
