Biological Activity
Human
AVID100 Antibody (MAB100) binds EGFR with an affinity of approximately 2 nM, acts as a full EGFR antagonist that blocks downstream signaling, and competes with EGF for EGFR binding[1].
AVID100 induces apoptosis and potent cytotoxicity (with IC50 values correlating with EGFR expression) in MDA-MB-468, H292, and FaDu cancer cells, but does not increase cytotoxicity or apoptosis in normal keratinocytes relative to unconjugated MAB100[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
