EBL‑3599 is an LpxH inhibitor derived from JEDI‑852 and JEDI‑1444 (HY-187940). EBL-3599 exhibits antibacterial activity against E. coli, K. pneumoniae, and efflux-deficient A. baumannii, P. aeruginosa, and P. mirabilis. EBL-3599 exhibits dose-dependent in vivo efficacy against E. coli and K. pneumoniae in a mouse peritonitis model. EBL-3599 can be used for research on bacterial infections and peritonitis.
