INN-312
INN-312 is a sickle hemoglobin (Hb S) inhibitor capable of penetrating red blood cell membranes. INN-312 inhibits sickling of sickle red blood cells under hypoxic conditions, increases the oxygen affinity of Hb, and moderately improves the solubility of deoxygenated Hb S. INN-312 can be used in research related to sickle cell disease.

Animal Model:Transgenic sickle mice[1]
-
Dosage:50 mg/kg; 100 mg/kg; 150 mg/kg
-
Administration:i.p.; single dose
-
Result:Produced AUC values of 314 µg/mL/min, 648 µg/mL/min, and 1044 µg/mL/min for 50, 100, and 150 mg/kg doses, respectively.
Showed terminal half-life of 0.75 h, peak concentration time of 0.5 h, and mean resident time of 1.2 h, consistent across all dosage groups.
Increased maximum plasma concentration in a dose-dependent manner.
Shifted hemoglobin oxygen equilibrium curve toward the left more strongly than various previously reported compounds.
