IUPAC Name: 5-hydroxy-3-(3-hydroxy-4,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-6-methoxy-7-(((2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)oxy)-4H-chromen-4-one
InChIKey: LNQCUTNLHUQZLR-OZJWLQQPSA-N
SMILES: O=C1C2=C(O)C(OC)=C(O[C@@H]3O[C@@H]([C@@H](O)[C@H](O)[C@H]3O)CO)C=C2OC=C1C4=CC(OC)=C(OC)C(O)=C4
Biological Activity: Iridin is an orally active natural isoflavone. Iridin inhibits the PI3K/AKT and PKM2 signaling pathways, and downregulates the JAK/STAT and NF-κB pathways. Iridin induces Fas-mediated extrinsic apoptosis, G2/M cell cycle arrest, and inhibits cell proliferation. Iridin reduces inflammation, inhibits ROS production, suppresses glycolysis, and also exhibits antioxidant and antidiabetic activities. Iridin can be used in research related to gastric cancer and acute lung injury[1][2][3].
