Biological Activity: 17-HDHA is a DHA-derived specialized proresolving mediator (SPM). 17-HDHA enhances the antibody-mediated immune response against influenza virus. 17-HDHA enhances the differentiation of B cells toward the CD27+ CD38+ antibody-secreting cell phenotype, thereby strongly increasing IgM and IgG production by activated B cells[1][2].
