IOB-82
IOB-82 is a bifunctional alkylating agent. IOB‑82 induces marked nuclear and cytoplasmic alterations, elicits severe chromatid and chromosome aberrations, and remodels chromosome ploidy. IOB-82 exerts dose-dependent radiomimetic effects and preferentially cytotoxic to large A-type rat ascites cells. IOB-82 can be applied in the research of melanoma‑derived tumors and leukemia.

IOB-82 (3.62 × 10, 4-3.62 × 10-3 μM/mL; 24 h) induces concentration-dependent morphological damage to HR-18 rat ascites cells, with large A-type cells more severely affected than B-type cells[2].
IOB-82 (3.62 × 10-4, 3.62 × 10-3 μM/mL; 24 h) induces concentration-dependent structural and numerical chromosomal damage to HR-18 rat ascites cells, eliminating polyploid cells and the 85-86 chromosome population, increasing cells with 41-49 chromosomes[2].
