Bepranemab is a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody that binds to the central region of tau protein. Bepranemab inhibits the seeding, aggregation of pathological tau protein and the spread of tau pathology to distal brain regions. Bepranemab is applicable to research related to Alzheimer's disease.

Immobilized Human Tau Protein (His Tag) can bind Bepranemab. The EC50 for this effect is 4.09 ng/mL. -
Flow cytometric analysis of 1.5X106 SHSY5Y cells with Bepranemab (HY-P99471, red). Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde. Then stained with the primary antibody at 1/200 dilution for an hour at 4℃. Goat Anti-Human IgG H&L (AF488) (HY-P83776) was used as the secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution for 30 minutes at 4℃. Human IgG4 kappa, Isotype Control (HY-P99003, blue) was used as the isotype control.
