Description

Anticancer agent 101 is a derivative of tetracaine. Anticancer agent 101 has anti-cancer activity^[1].

In Vitro

Anticancer agent 101 (compound 2m; 24 and 48 h) has antitumor activity with IC₅₀ values of 20.5 μM and 62.9 μM against Colo-205 and HepG2 cells, respectively^[1].
Anticancer agent 101 (25 µM and 50 µM; 24 h) down-regulates the expression level of apoptotic protein PI3K and FoXO3a, up-regulates the expression level of PTEN and FoXO1 in Colo-205 cells^[1].
