Retrohelioxanthin (compound 3) is an aryldihydronaphthalene lignan that can be isolated and extracted from the aerial parts of Linum perenne L. Retrohelioxanthin is an isomer of Helioxanthin (HY-16678). Retrohelioxanthin can be used for antiviral research.
