DHUCu-1
DHUCu-1 is a lysosome-targeted NIR divalent copper ion probe with high water solubility. DHUCu-1 serves as a tool for investigating the physiological functions of Cu2+ and related diseases, such as Menke syndrome, Wilson's disease, and Alzheimer's disease.

Biological Activity
DHUCu-1 (5 μM) exhibits concentration-dependent fluorescence and absorbance changes with Cu2+ (0-20 μM) in PBS solution containing 1% alcohol cosolvent, enabling visual and spectroscopic detection of Cu2+[1].
DHUCu-1 (5 μM) enables highly sensitive detection of Cu2+ in aqueous solution, with a limit of detection of 19.1 nM, and shows a linear fluorescence response to Cu2+ in the concentration range of 0 to 3.0 μM[1].
DHUCu-1 (50 μM; 24 h) exhibits low toxicity and good biocompatibility toward HeLa cells, with an observed cell viability of over 80%[1].
DHUCu-1 (10 μM; 1 h) acts as an activatable fluorescent probe for exogenous Cu2+ (20-50 μM; 1 h) in HeLa cells, generating a detectable near-infrared fluorescent signal[1].
DHUCu-1 (10 μM; 1 h) accumulates in the lysosomes of HeLa cells[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
