DHUCu-1 (5 μM) exhibits concentration-dependent fluorescence and absorbance changes with Cu²⁺ (0-20 μM) in PBS solution containing 1% alcohol cosolvent, enabling visual and spectroscopic detection of Cu²⁺^[1].
DHUCu-1 (5 μM) enables highly sensitive detection of Cu²⁺ in aqueous solution, with a limit of detection of 19.1 nM, and shows a linear fluorescence response to Cu²⁺ in the concentration range of 0 to 3.0 μM^[1].
DHUCu-1 (50 μM; 24 h) exhibits low toxicity and good biocompatibility toward HeLa cells, with an observed cell viability of over 80%^[1].
