Eberconazole is a dichlorinated imidazole derivative with antifungal activity. Eberconazole is more effective than Clotrimazole (HY-10882), Ketoconazole (HY-B0105), and Miconazole (HY-B0454). Eberconazole has potential for the study of dermatophytosis.

Biological Activity
Eberconazole (0.03-2 μg/mL, 7 days) exhibits significant antifungal activity against 200 strains of dermatophytes, with the strongest activity against Trichophyton rubrum and Trichophyton mentagrophytes[1].

Animal Model:Experimentally induced cutaneous candidiasis guinea pig model[2]

Dosage:1%-1.3% Eberconazole cream, approximately 1-1.3 g per animal
