In Vivo

Endotoxin inhibitor (i.p.; 0.5 mg/kg) TFA significantly attenuates heat exposure-induced increases in mRNA for IL-1β, COX-2, IκB-β, and LPS activity, as well as heat exposure-induced hypothermia and plasma ACTH and catecholamine responses in aged rats^[1].
