ENT-C225 is an effective activator of TrkB neurotrophin receptor. ENT-C225 has high effect on activating TrkB receptor (TrkBR), and has good physicochemical properties and neuroprotective properties[1].

In Vitro

ENT-C225 (Compound 10) (1 µM; 24 h) significantly improves NIH-3T3 TrkB cytotoxicity and reduces cell mortality[1].
ENT-C225 (1 µM; 20 min) promotes TrkB receptor phosphorylation in NIH-3T3 TrkB cells and primary astrocytes[1].
ENT-C225 (500 pM-1 µM; 48 h) has significant neuroprotective effect and enhances in a dose-dependent manner. ENT-C225 promoting the accumulation of TAR DNA-binding protein 43 (TDP43) in the neural network and cytoplasm of spinal motor neurons[1].
