Nolomirole
Nolomirole (CHF 1035) is an orally active and selective DA2 dopaminergic receptor/α2-adrenoceptor agonist. Nolomirole attenuates the heart failure signs in the Monocrotaline (HY-N0750)-induced congestive heart failure model. Nolomirole increases cardiac output.

-
Animal Model:Female rats were given single intraperitoneal injection of Monocrotaline (50 mg/kg) [5].
-
Dosage:0.25 mg/kg
-
Administration:Oral gavage (p.o.), twice a day for 21-25 days after Monocrotaline administration 3 days later, and then evaluated heart hypertrophy and neuroendocrine alterations.
-
Result:Significantly reduced hypertrophy of right atria (0.29 mg/g) and ventricles (1.62 mg/g), plasma levels of ANP and presence of pleural/peritoneal effusions and norepinephrine depletion of right ventricle (from 3.64 nmol /gww to 5.56 nmol/gww).
