Etalanetug (Mouse IgG2a) (7G6 Antibody) is a mouse monoclonal antibody targeting the HVPGG motif in the microtubule-binding domain of tau protein. Etalanetug (Mouse IgG2a) reduces the levels of insoluble tau protein in multiple brain regions and inhibits the seeding and spread of pathological tau protein. Etalanetug (Mouse IgG2a) is applicable to research related to Alzheimer's disease[1][2].

In Vitro

Etalanetug (Mouse IgG2a) binds to recombinant wild-type human 2N4R tau protein with high affinity, with a Kd value of 64 pM[1].
Etalanetug (Mouse IgG2a) binds to recombinant human P301S mutant 2N4R tau protein with high affinity, with a Kd value of 448 pM, which is lower than its affinity for recombinant wild-type human 2N4R tau protein[1].

Etalanetug (Mouse IgG2a) (3-40 mg/kg; peripheral administration) significantly reduces insoluble tau levels in multiple brain regions in the hTau transgenic mouse model of Alzheimer's disease[2].

Animal Model: hTau mice (6 months old) with AD brain‑derived seed‑injection into the left hippocampus[2]
