Herbicide safener-5 (Compound II-10) exhibits excellent activity against Bensulfuron (HY-B0870), with inhibition rates (IRR) of 106.2%, 77.4%, 95.1% and 72.6% on plant height, fresh shoot weight, root length and fresh root weight, respectively[1].
Herbicide safener-5 (20 mg/kg; 12 h) increases the activities of acetolactate synthase (ALS), glutathione S-transferase (GST), CYP450 and peroxidase (POD) in rice, while decreases superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity to alleviate oxidative stress[1].
