6-TAMRA
Based on 1 publication(s) in Google Scholar
6-TAMRA (6-Carboxytetramethylrhodamine) is a fluorescent dye. 6-TAMRA is often used in combination with 6-FAM (HY-66021) as an acceptor or fluorescence quencher for fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) in biochemical studies such as potassium ion detection and ribonuclease activity assays.

Biological Activity
6-TAMRA, in the form of succinimidyl ester, undergoes conjugation with 3'-amino-modified oligonucleotides via incubation at 37℃ for 12 h in a pH 8.5 sodium bicarbonate buffer, and is further used as a 3'-end labeling dye for fluorescence quenching[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
