Isoviolanthin inhibits TGF-β/Smad and PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathways. Isoviolanthin increases Fhl3 expression. Isoviolanthin has cytoprotective effects. Isoviolanthin has anticancer activity against hepatocellular carcinoma.
