Brassicasteryl linoleate (compound 7) inhibits the viability of MCF-7 breast cancer cells with an IC₅₀ of 67.20 μg/mL and H1299 lung cancer cells with an IC₅₀ of 92.24 μg/mL, and is non-toxic to L929 murine fibroblast cells^[1].
Brassicasteryl linoleate (compound 3) (48 h) exhibits weak cytotoxicity against HT29 and MCF7 cancer cell lines, no cytotoxicity against HeLa cancer cells, and weak toxicity against PDF fibroblast cells, with IC₅₀ values of 73.2 µg/mL, 64.2 µg/mL, and 90.1 µg/mL, respectively^[3].
