Forazapadin (Forazapadinum) is a AAK1 inhibitor that inhibits AAK1, BIKE, and GAK. Forazapadin can be used in research related to AAK1-mediated diseases and muscle disorders^[1].

体外実験

Forazapadin (I-34) exhibits potent in vitro biochemical inhibitory activity against AAK1 (AAK1 pSEN EIC₅₀ = 1-50 nM), and moderately inhibits intracellular AAK1 as detected by Western blotting (intracellular AAK1 IC₅₀ = 151-500 nM). It shows moderate inhibitory activity against BIKE (BIKE pSEN IC₅₀ = 151-500 nM), extremely weak inhibitory activity against GAK (GAK pSEN IC₅₀ > 1500 nM), and displays optimal targeting preference for AAK1 over GAK^[1].
