QP5
Based on 1 Customer Validation
QP5 is an Amelogenin (HY-P71627)-derived peptide. QP5 binds to hydroxyapatite and demineralized enamel surfaces, temporarily stabilizes amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP), and regulates the crystallization of hydroxyapatite. QP5 promotes remineralization of artificial enamel caries in vitro, and acts synergistically with fluoride to enhance enamel caries remineralization. QP5 can be used in studies related to enamel caries and early enamel caries.

生物活性
QP5 (25 μM) binds strongly and stably to demineralized human tooth enamel, with greater binding compared to sound enamel[1].
QP5 (200 μM; 30 min, 2 h, 24 h) transiently stabilizes ACP and directs its transformation into HA crystals with a natural enamel-matching Ca2+/P ratio of 1.67; when combined with fluoride, it directs formation of elongated rod-like HA/FHA crystals[1].
QP5 (25 μM; four times daily for 5 min each, over 12 days) alone promotes remineralization of artificial human enamel caries with effects similar to fluoride, and when combined with fluoride, it exerts a synergistic effect that significantly enhances surface microhardness recovery, reduces mineral loss and lesion depth, and increases mineral content compared to either treatment alone[1].
QP5 (600 μM; 2 h) adsorbs on nucleated minerals in solution via its functional domains, stabilizes amorphous calcium phosphate, and inhibits spontaneous nucleation of crystalline HAP after 2 hours of incubation[2].
QP5 (200 μM; 30 min pre-coating, 14 days treatment) promotes biomimetic remineralization of demineralized bovine enamel, achieving a surface microhardness recovery of 72.07%[2].
QP5 (100 ns; 310 K) stably adsorbs to the HAP (001) surface via negatively charged C-tail domain residues (Glu19, Glu20, Asp22) through electrostatic interactions, then recruits Ca2+ from solution to promote enamel biomimetic remineralization during 100 ns molecular dynamics simulation at 310 K[2].
