Lemalesomab
Lemalesomab (IMMU-MN3) is a Fab' fragment of a murine anti-granulocyte monoclonal antibody targeting NCA-90 (CEACAM6). Lemalesomab binds strongly to NCA-90 on the surface of granulocytes, cross-reacts with epitopes of other CEA family members, and blocks the binding between human colon adenocarcinoma cells and CEA. When labeled with 99mTc, Lemalesomab can be used for radionuclide imaging of soft tissue infections and osteomyelitis.

Pre-incubation of purified human neutrophils with Lemalesomab (20 μg/mL; 30 min) does not impair granulocyte functions (superoxide anion production, phagocytosis, chemotaxis, or MTT reduction), and a small but significant increase in MTT reduction is observed upon fMLP stimulation[1].
Lemalesomab inhibits the binding between the KM-12c human colon adenocarcinoma cell line and CEA by 80%-90%[1].
