LGP-CL can be used for detecting elevated protease levels, and can also distinguish liver cancer cells from normal cells and other cancer cell lines^[1].

In Vivo

Intratumoral injection of LGP-CL (50 μM) generates a strong, time-dependent intratumoral CL signal in hepatocellular carcinoma-bearing BALB/c nude mice, and this signal is specifically triggered by endogenous APN and DPPIV activities^[1].
