LSALT peptide 

LSALT peptide is a selective DPEP-1 inhibitor with selectivity over DPEP2/3. LSALT peptide inhibits neutrophil and monocyte/macrophage recruitment, inflammation, and tissue injury. LSALT peptide reduces kidney damage, improves survival in murine sepsis and endotoxemia models. LSALT peptide can be used for the research of COVID-19, sepsis, acute respiratory distress syndrome, and acute kidney injury^[1][2][3].

LSALT peptide binds specifically to human DPEP1, with no detectable binding to the closely related DPEP2 or DPEP3 proteins expressed on COS1 cells^[2].
LSALT peptide (4 h) inhibits human neutrophil binding to pro-inflammatory stimulus-activated primary human lung endothelial cells^[2].

LSALT peptide (i.v.; single dose; 5 minutes post-LPS) significantly reduces LPS (HY-D1056)-induced neutrophil adhesion and crawling in inflamed liver sinusoids and pulmonary vasculature in mice^[2].
LSALT peptide (i.v.; single dose (5 minutes post-LPS) or two doses (5 minutes and 18 hours post-LPS)) significantly improves survival in a lethal murine endotoxemia model, and reduces LPS-induced acute lung injury^[2].
LSALT peptide significantly reduces mortality and organ damage in a murine polymicrobial sepsis model^[2].
