Mca-PLAQAV-Dpa-RSSSR-NH2 (10-60 minutes; 6 hours) serves as a fluorescence substrate to measure TACE activity in HuH-7 cell extracts, detecting a significant SARS-S protein-induced increase in activity that is completely blocked by TAPI-2 (HY-100211) pretreatment^[2].
Mca-PLAQAV-Dpa-RSSSR-NH2 (10 mM; 30 minutes) acts as a fluorogenic substrate for metalloprotease activity induced by active Hla in A431 keratinocytes^[3].
