Montanastatin

In Vitro

Montanastatin (Compound 1) inhibits the growth of mouse P388 leukemia cells and a variety of human cancer cell lines, with a GI₅₀ of 7.5 μg/mL for mouse P388 leukemia cells. The human cancer cell lines include OVCAR-3 (GI₅₀ = 1.2 μg/mL), SF-295 (GI₅₀ = 3.3 μg/mL), A-498 (GI₅₀ = 2.0 μg/mL), NCI-H460 (GI₅₀ = 1.4 μg/mL), KM20L2 (GI₅₀ = 1.4 μg/mL) and SK-MEL-5 (GI₅₀ = 1.3 μg/mL)^[1].
