Peptide 22
Peptide 22 is a polypeptide that binds to EGFR. Peptide 22 competes with endogenous EGF for EGFR binding sites and is taken up by triple-negative breast cancer cells in a dose-dependent manner. Peptide 22 can be used in studies related to triple-negative breast cancer.

Biological Activity
Peptide 22 (YHWYGYTPENVI) (2 μM) specifically binds to EGFR on MDA-MB-468 and MDA-MB-231 triple-negative breast cancer cells, with significantly higher uptake than the parent GE11 peptide and dose-dependent binding saturation at 2 μM in MDA-MB-231 cells[1].
Peptide 22 shows high uptake in MDA-MB-468 and MDA-MB-231 triple-negative breast cancer cells but has low serum stability, requiring cyclization to enhance in vivo utility[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
