SCP1-IN-1 is a Small CTD Phosphatase 1 (SCP1) inhibitor with a human IC50 of 10 μM. SCP1-IN-1 inactivates SCP1, promotes REST transcription factor degradation, and reduces REST transcriptional activity. SCP1-IN-1 can be used for the research of glioblastoma multiforme.

Biological Activity
SCP1-IN-1 (Compound T-62) (30 min) inhibits wild-type human SCP1 phosphatase activity with an IC50 of 10 μM after 30 min pre-incubation in a pNPP assay[1].
SCP1-IN-1 acts as a time-dependent covalent inhibitor of wild-type human SCP1 against the physiological REST phospho-peptide substrate, with a kinact of 0.012/min and a kinact/KI of 5000/min·μM[1].
