Tisbesiran
Tisbesiran is an apolipoprotein(a) (apo(a)) synthesis inhibitor. Tisbesiran is a trivalent GalNAc-conjugated double-stranded siRNA with a mixed modification of 2′-OMe/2′-F/P-thio. Its antisense strand targets the KIV-2 repeat region of human apo(a) (LPA) mRNA, thereby inhibiting apolipoprotein(a) synthesis and reducing plasma Lp(a). Tisbesiran can be used for research on Lp(a)-mediated atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
