TOFyl-CoA is an intracellular metabolite of TOFA (HY-101068) and a more potent ACC inhibitor. TOFyl-CoA exerts allosteric inhibition on ACC1 and ACC2 by competing with acetyl-CoA in the carboxyltransferase reaction.
